# MIDAX402

> Independent verification for x402 services. We read an endpoint's 402 challenge, judge it against the x402 spec, and publish a signed verdict with its evidence -- verifiable without asking us. Also pay-per-query intelligence over a curated x402 corpus: protocols, facilitator activity, agent commerce and market trends. Pay per query on Base Mainnet, Algorand Mainnet and Solana Mainnet. Intelligence tiers run LLM synthesis over the corpus; the Standard tier adds dual-LLM cross-validation across independent model providers.

MIDAX402 is an x402-native, pay-per-query intelligence service over a curated corpus of 242 x402 ecosystem entries. No signup, no API key: pay per request in USDC via the x402 protocol (HTTP 402). Multi-rail: Base Mainnet (settled via cdp), Algorand Mainnet (settled via goplausible) and Solana Mainnet (settled via cdp).

## How to pay
- Protocol: x402 v2 (HTTP 402 challenge), scheme `exact`.
- Method: POST with JSON body `{"query": "..."}`.
- A 402 response carries the payment challenge in the `PAYMENT-REQUIRED` header (base64) and body.
- Allow a client timeout of at least 180 seconds (paid tiers run multi-model synthesis).
- Retries reuse the same payment and are served idempotently; do not retry before the response returns.

## Privacy
- We count calls, we do not keep who made them. No IP addresses are written to disk -- not raw, not hashed. An IP is held in memory only for abuse rate limits and is never persisted.
